Life Lessons Part 2
These last couple of days I have been experimenting with doing my hair differently, changing nail polish colors as often as possible, revamping my wardrobe and taking risks by Faith. I have also come to a point of having to submit to rules so that I do not dishonor/disrespect myself in the process of fulfilling my life goals.
The submitting part has so far been what I have struggled with the most, since I have tasted what managing my own time, and doing things whenever 'I' feel like it is... re-learning to take advice and listen to warning, to actually take a minute to see what is really going on and make a sensible decision.
It is so easy to do things just because, to have absolutely NO purpose in life and still think we are moving forward. From my experience, no purpose means that we put ourselves in situations that we cannot handle to prove a point, make ourselves victims, or for those who like challenges, to get a thrill :/
I personally am very much ready to take my life to the next level. So many times I told myself I could do whatever I wanted, be whoever I wanted, but never told myself to plan, get ready, to organize myself so I could actually achieve those goals. So, at this point in my life I have decided to 1. Give my life Jesus Christ, 2. organize my life, and 3. enjoy everyday to the fullest.

Lessons Learned part 1
As a college student coming to a really close encounter with graduation, I find myself looking back at the decisions I have made and realize that even though the majority have been emotional, impulsive and just plain childish... they have brought me to meet amazing people. From break ups to not finding the right shade of anything, I have been blessed with people that sit me down and talk or knock (metaphorically) some sense into me.
I would say that the appropriate people at the appropriate time are priceless. It makes life so much easier to know that there are people around who have shown time after time that they have your best interest at heart. All this sappy friendship love is necessary to say that... having the right friend is just like having the right outfit, the right accessory, the right attitude.
The cheerleaders (friends, coworkers, mentors, etc.) play an important role in the success we have, whether active or passive. Their support and belief in our dream, along with our Faith, makes for an amazing power source that can last us through a lifetime.
Choose wisely, choose safely ....

Back
There's been a lot going on in my mind lately, especially when it comes the shape and use of clothing to help show the world who we are. As a "not skinny" girl, I find myself sometimes struggling to use some of the trends in style and still stay true to my size. Although there are bigger sizes, do they actually look good???... I believe they can, as long as they are paired with the right tops, shoes and accessories.
I got these skirts at Forever21 and at first I thought, 'well , can you really pull this off??' At this point you can be the judge. As I continue to wear them and pair them with different undershirts and accessories, new found confidence in my ability to pull this off comes. The material is very form-fitting yet, comfortable to wear; the skirts do not dig in to stop circulation either. I have found them to be good buys at $6.50-8.50 each. They are very good to dress up or dress down.
